The unusual floor to ceiling glass in the outdoor foyer is a rare but fun feature found in a few tract homes just like this valleywide. The front door uses a kit by Crestview Doors. The owners removed the kitchen, living and dining room walls to form a great room in the main volume of the house, and used the old hallway utility closet to expand the guest bath. They also converted the carport into a home theater center. Reclaimed materials from Porter Barn Wood were used to create the backdrop for the media center, as well as several rustic accents indoors and out. The putting green out back is a big hit at parties.
