The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008

Glass and Garden Church
8620 East McDonald Drive

Glass and Garden opened its doors 42 years ago on Palm Sunday in 1966. This cheerful sanctuary was designed by architect E. Logan Campbell. In addition to its round design and atrium-like interior spaces, this church is most memorable for the incorporation of drive-in speakers in their parking lot (now disassembled), because pastor Floyd Goulooze believed that “For some people the front door of a church is the barrier.” The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 The Glass and Garden Church on the Modern Phoenix Home Tour 2008 Photos ©2008 Chris Marks, Joel Contreras, Purple Nickel,
