The Flagship | 1951
Architect: Ralph Haver AIA
Builder: Perry-Brignall Construction Co.
Remodel: Ben Allison in 2002
Completion: 90%
Style: Contemporary Modern Ranch
This Haver Home was one of the first Marlen Grove remodels to catch the eye of Modern Phoenix and was the first home ever featured on the website’s home page, earning it the nickname The Flagship. It’s been though two major remodels in the last 15 years. The designers maximized space without altering the original footprint by opening up the kitchen to a great room, removing a closet to hold a built-in office desk, and using the remaining closet space for built-in dressers in the master bedroom. The casement windows have original cranks. The landscape was completely scraped and redone by Dominic Gettings with Desert Flower Landscape. Baja Sandblasting blasted the exterior.
