Modern Phoenix needs a savvy person in the know who can go around to:
Coffeeshops
Antique stores
Restaurants
Salons / Spas
Galleries
Gardening centers
DWR
Other contemporary furniture stores
Anywhere there's a cool, active Community Board (like at Copper Star coffee)
...and post or drop off postcards and posters advertising Modern Phoenix Week. If you do at least 2 hours of service and report back the venues you hit, I'll comp your home tour ticket this year! Must be willing to interact with store owners to ask permission if necessary. Please reply to me with a list of 12 or more places you think would be good to advertise in either Scottsdale or Tempe and I'll hook you up.
If you live in these areas and know of a good place we should hit, please reply here and let us know about your favorite venue that is 1) advertising friendly and 2) where potential MoPhos congregate/shop/dine. I have the Phoenix market covered, just am not current on the East Valley. Thanks!
