I commend Chicago for their forward thinking on this. It is nice when cities take such initiative.
Now, if only Phoenix could take the lead on solar energy and advanced shade systems Downtown...

I am curious to see how long this permeable concrete holds up. It would seem to me that all of the minerals in the water would begin to break down the matrix and collapse the system leaving you with something no better than packed gravel. Hey it's a push in the rite direction. I agree Phoenix needs to make some movement of there own. We surely have our share of dusty alley ways.
