Nutswinger: A name used commonly on message boards when one member is giving another member an uncomfortable, creepy amount of respect in a post or series of posts. On this board- this member is usually Mr. Natural, and almost all of us are guilty at one time or another.

ie: (follows a Mr. Natural post) yeah, yeah, ..... eee-EEE-eeee yeah, funny, funny!! YOU'RE THE FRIGGIN KING! YYEEEAAAHHHH           !!!!!!!!!!!!!
(giggles, giggles, Louder giggles) You're the funniest!! Tell me another funny!

(Nutswinger)

The previous post is another good example of nut swinging on my part.

Hater 'hAt r

A person that simply cannot be happy for another person. They will instead make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

Hating, the result of being a hater, is not mere jealousy. The hater does not really want to be the person he or she hates. Hating involves knocking somone else down a notch so that the hater can secretly feel better about himself/herself.

1. Susan: You know, Kevin is doing very well. He just bought a house in Marlen Grove.

Jane (hater): Kevin only bought the place because he read about it in a magazine; besides, he's still wearing UGG boots

2. They see me rollin'
They hatin'
Patrollin'
And tryin to catch me ridin dirty

Denial:
Denial is a psychological defense mechanism in which a person faced with a fact that is uncomfortable or painful to accept rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence. The subject may deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimization) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference).

1. Jane: Kevin is in denial that there are pedophiles near his home. I refer to him as the King of De-Nile. Boo-ya!
Word.

If it's any consolation, all the hot tubs in Marlen Grove are cold.

Obscur-a-scaping
n.

Shrubbery or cacti that blind the curbside viewer with distracting, gangly lines, thereby obscuring the clean lines of the home behind it. Only Modern Goggles (tm) with the clone stamp plug-in can virtually remove this phenomenon without permanent damage to the property.

"Sure, that obscur-a-scaping represents twenty years of growth, but it's running interference through the middle of the elevation!"

HOME-ICIDE

Postby Circa50 on Mon Dec 11, 2006 6:26 am

Home-icide –noun

The act of killing architecture. It can also refer to a person who has committed
such an act, though this use is rare in modern English. Although home-icide is not necessarily
illegal, some jurisdictions use the word to indicate the unlawful killing of a home.

Aslo know as Haver-side and Beadle-side.

Ikeaitis
eye-kee-eye-tus

The muscle strain that accompanies a several-day session of assembling Ikea cabinetry. Not the allen-wrench variety of wrist fatigue from screwing up the Wimpl side table, but core muscle and raw-at-the-thumbs soreness that comes from installing their heavy-as-a-bull cabinets.

I can't go golfing this weekend, I have an acute case of Ikeaitis.

Mullet Modern

Historic out front, party in the back

That home is so mullet modern. You wouldn't even suspect it but the backyard is completely off the hook!
