Bed project

Postby THE Nathan on Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:03 am

Hi everyone,

Looking for some sources in the valley who supply furniture grade wood. I found a great article about how to build a Case Study bed and just can't resist trying my hand at this.

Also, if you have taken on a similar project and have any tips those are alos very appreciated.

Thanks!

Timber Woodworking - Mesa

There is actually quite a bit on Ebay as well...
For every complex question there is a simple answer, and it is wrong.

^Thank you. I actually came across wood worker source in my own research but thanks for the additional ideas.

Starting out my sketch and will soon convert to CAD for measurements etc. I am trying to figure out the best way to build this so I can be assembled and taken down for moves and what not. The instructions of others found online are pretty brutal with the amount of screws and I feel it can be a bit more polished.

This will be my first major project and I don't have any wood working experience so again, if there are any tips or suggestions that would be helpful I wold appreciate it.

Thanks!
