Found another custom Haver..built after Town & Country m

Postby Fifilynn on Mon Apr 09, 2007 2:31 pm

Happened across this one today, while showing a property down the street.

Address is 4832 E. Virginia, Phoenix, AZ 85008
Built in 1957

It is the same model/elevation as the homes in Town & Country Manor and Town & Country Scottsdale. Seems like it was a pretty popular house to have built back in the day. I wonder if Haver sold his plans to those looking to build on their own lots. Fred Woodworth probably had something to do with it.

Here's some photos:

From what I could see from the street, it looked liked a shade thing-with posts and some sort of green plastic. I wish I had gotten a better look at it.

Here's another shot:

Yes, Ralph did. That is why you see the T&C model in Marion Estates. I think there are two or three in there, I haven't formally counted but I recall seeing more than one. One of them is in Hess' Ranch House book.

OMG driving in Marion Estates at night time is like driving into a wormhole. Talk about your "locals only" atmosphere! ;-D

What is happening with this house today? It is near me. It had an Auction.com sign a couple weeks ago which has disappeared. I hope a 'saver' has taken possession .

Did a little research and found that the home sold for 47,500.

The new owner is "PAYING CASH FOR HOUSESCOM LLC"
