I wonder what the final outcome was? I think a lot of the shock also came from seeing a bulldozer near a the home. Usually when we see those it's not particularly good news. I think seeing the final outcome may help some of those who would be upset by the addition see it in a new light if it truly did keep the style and lines of the original. I hope you didn't get too put off by the reactions and comments here. I for one would love to see how it came out.

Trying to compare putting a garage on an average ranchburger to defacing the Mona Lisa is just ridiculous. It's nothing more than a 50 year old tract house not a "work of art" by any standards. Some folks on this board need to get over it... Things like this are why I hardly post here anymore.
