I've recently come into the possession of the dining table my mother purchased here in Phoenix in the mid 70's. I'm trying to find out who the designer was. I'll post pictures later tonight , but for now I'll stick to a description, in the hopes someone can assist in identifying the piece.
It EXTREMELY similar to a Warren Platner design. It features chrome rods forming an oval pattern wide on the bottom, swooping inward so that it is smaller in the middle, and then wide again at the top. It came with a smoked glass oval tabletop, and a set of 4 chairs.
The Chairs are rust/orange colored and have the same chrome rods as the table, to form the circular base of the chair.
My mother had told me that they were custom built here in Phoenix. Anyone got any pointers on where I might look to try and find out who the designer is?
